What You Need

• Spare wheel
• Jack
• Wheel brace
• Warning triangle

Step by Step Guide

1. Find a safe place – Pull over on level ground, away from traffic.
2. Turn on hazard lights – Warn other drivers.
3. Loosen the wheel nuts – Turn them anti-clockwise slightly before jacking up the car.
4. Jack up the car – Lift the car until the flat tyre is off the ground.
5. Remove the wheel – Fully unscrew the nuts and take off the tyre.
6. Fit the spare – Line up the holes, replace the nuts, and tighten them.
7. Lower the car and tighten again – Once the car is back on the ground, fully tighten the nuts.
